¡Volcano Scouting se enorgullece de ofrecer programas nocturnos y eventos de un solo día diseñados por scouts, para scouts! Con el apoyo de Scouters adultos y nuestros socios, brindamos a los estudiantes de secundaria la oportunidad de organizar horarios, planificar menús, desarrollar ceremonias, redactar presupuestos y dirigir programas educativos. Cada año, albergamos a más de 150 scouts y líderes adultos de todo el noroeste del Pacífico en Mount St. Helens. Virtual Merit Badge Courses

Scouting families are looking for fun, innovative, and accessible merit badge advancement opportunities. Volcano Scouting hears you! This off-season, we will be offering virtual merit badge courses for ten (10) Eagle Scout-required and Distinguished Conservation Service Award (DCSA) merit badges. Each of the seven (7) courses will be offered al a carte (separately) for just $5.00/each. Scouts can also access all courses, and additional programming and a limited-edition gift package, through our Virtual Conservation Leaders Academy.
2023 Merit Badge Weekend

Get ready for an outdoor learning experience like no other! Join Volcano Scouting for its first Merit Badge Weekend at Mount St. Helens in three years. Scouts will conduct real-world scientific inquiry, hear from outdoor professionals, and engage in ecological restoration at the Mount St. Helens Science and Learning Center on June 2-4. These unique experiential learning activities will provide scouts with an opportunity to earn the Geology and Soil & Water Conservation merit badges. Field camp accommodations, staff-prepared meals, learning materials, a t-shirt, and a patch are included with registration. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity at one of the most studied volcanoes in the world!
